The Threshold Analysis Inputs page allows the user to solve for the value of a given parameter that satisfies a specified condition. These conditions can be defined using a wide range of model outputs, including outcomes, costs, net monetary benefit, cost-effectiveness, and value-based price. Examples of threshold analyses would include:
- Identifying the value of a relative risk at which the intervention is cost-effective
- Identifying the value of a health state utility that achieves a specified gain in QALYs
- Identifying the value of the hazard ratio that achieves a target value-based price
To access the Threshold Analysis Inputs page, click on in the Navigation Sidebar on the left side of your screen and select
from the menu.
Threshold analyses are shown in tabular format, with each row representing an analysis.
Description |
|
Name |
The name of the threshold analysis. |
Parameter |
The parameter whose value will be solved for. |
Description |
The description of the parameter (not editable on this page). |
Base |
The formula used to calculate the base case value (not editable on this page) |
Min |
The lowest value that will be considered for the parameter in searching for the threshold value. |
Max |
The largest value that will be considered for the parameter in searching for the threshold value. |
Condition |
The condition that must be satisfied by the threshold value. This can be defined in terms of outcomes, costs, net monetary benefit, cost-effectiveness, or value-based price. |
